Development and implementation of workplace Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC)
Implementation of a successful Occupational Health and Safety
Management System(OHSMS) mostly leads to a reduction of
workplace illness and injury, minimizing the costs associated with
workplace accidents.
OHSMS principles for an organization are as below:
  1. Definition of OHS policy
  2. Plan to fulfill the OHS policy, objectives and targets.
  3. Development of support mechanisms to achieve its OHS targets.
  4. Evaluation of OHS performance, and take preventive
    and corrective action.
  5. Regularly review and continually improve the OHSMS
Legislation in Australia adopts a risk management approach to achieve
OHS targets. “Hazard identification, Risk assessment and Risk control”
(HIRAC) are three key steps in the process used in work places to manage
health and safety by focusing on risk.
HIRAC is one of the supportive mechanisms which assist to achieve the
highest levels of OHS performance. The HIRAC process will be carried out
with consulting with the employees.
Our method to HIRAC is unique.
